Clancy Weeks (b. 1960) is a composer by training, with over two-dozen published works for wind ensemble and orchestra, and an author only in his fevered imagination. Having read SF/F for over fifty years, his life took a sharp u-turn when he published his first novel, Sleepers. He has lived his entire life in Texas, and lives there still with his amazing wife and above-average son.
